Academy FAQs

If you're new to the principles and clinical applications of the Mederi Care approach, we recommend following the course order listed on this page, by starting with Mederi Care Fundamentals. Alternately, you can begin with any course or discounted bundle that interests you.

Our courses are all on-demand (start any time you’d like) and self-paced with expiration dates of 90-days or more. This allows students to complete coursework at their own pace, but within a set time frame that starts at the time of purchase.

In the details of each course listing, you’ll see the number of hours of pre-recorded webinars it contains. Individual course purchases grant access to all course materials and the Q&A for 90-days, which even our busiest students (full-time practitioners and lecturers) have deemed reasonable. Course bundles offer longer access periods (listed in the details of each bundle).

Our expert faculty includes Donnie Yance, along with other esteemed clinicians and educators, including Dr. Dwight McKee and Dr. Jason Miller, who also serves as Head of Faculty and Content Development -- all of whom have contributed content to the Academy Courses.

The LIVE component of the courses are the optional “Mederi Academy Q&A Sessions” (details below). The majority of each course is self-study with no real-time instructors. The course content consists of on-demand videos and supporting documents (the documents can be downloaded and saved; the videos cannot).

Twice per month we host optional live interactive Q&As with Donnie Yance or Dr. Jason Miller online, so students can ask questions about course material or other cases/questions. These are held on Wednesdays, from 2:30 pm – 4 pm (Pacific) and are recorded, so you can attend live or watch the replay later (within your course access period).

The assessments are designed to help you track your learning, including quizzes, short answer, clinical correlate assignments, and problem-based learning exercises. The automated quizzes will let you know if you answered correctly or incorrectly (revealing the correct answer to you afterward). The other assessments may be discussed in a Q&A session, by submitting a form with details about your inquiry.

If you enroll in one of our courses, you become eligible to join the Practitioner Membership, which offers continued access to the Q&As (and past recordings) plus many other benefits. This is made available to you after your course access expires.

These courses are for existing healthcare providers to further their own knowledge; they are not for credentialing, certification, or CEU purposes, and there are no academic transcripts. Upon completion, each online course generates a “Certificate of Completion” that can be printed. This certificate serves as a testament to your commitment and the effort you have put into advancing your expertise in your field.
